I'm Recovering

Yes, it has taken me this long to get over the holidays, and the ice storm, and the power outage, and the loss of running water, and...need I say more? But I am looking forward to a beautiful spring--if it ever gets here. Seems like it's been a long, cold winter. The only thing new around here is the impending arrival of a new puppy. Emily and I are going to get her Saturday. We haven't settled on a name yet, but I'm sure we'll come up with something. Sean has been searching for a job, but the market has shut down. He's getting pretty desperate for something. Valentine's Day came and went without much ado. It's always kind of sad for me. Carl and I celebrated it more than we did our anniversary, so it's bittersweet for me. At least all of the reality shows are gearing back up on T.V. so life is back in the groove for me!
